Great Installation for Great Homer Street

As part of the regeneration of Great Homer Street, Liverpool City Council and St Mowdens have invested in amongst others, the £2.2 Million rejuvenation of Great Homer Street Indoor Markets. Officially opened on Saturday 11th October 2014, the site, which has been relocated merely a few hundred feet away from the original, required a new heating solution in order to provide adequate comfort for its traders and customers. The ideal solution for this project was the Blackheat CORAYVAC® system to which installation had been awarded to Briggs and Forrester. This bespoke system was specifically designed to meet the requirements of the building. The heat generated is directed to the walkways, utilising a single vacuum pump situated in an acoustic housing to keep noise levels to a minimum.

The continuous CORAYVAC® system is an excellent way to maximize heat distribution to virtually eliminate hot spots and provide the utmost in comfort. The combination of gentle, even heat results in one of the most efficient and effective gas-fired, low-intensity, radiant heating systems in the industry today.
This custom engineered system can provide virtually an unlimited number of design options. In addition, multiple burners per pump result in reduced building penetrations and installation costs.
